The General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for ayahuasca retreats are set out below and apply regardless of the location of the retreat:

1. Contractual partner: Your contractual partner for booking an ayahuasca retreat is Ayahuasca Colombia, Cl. 11B #31a-205, El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia. E-mail: info@ayahuasca-retreat-colombia.com
2. Minimum age: The minimum age for booking and participating in our ayahuasca retreats is 16 years.
3. Booking and payment: Payment for the ayahuasca retreat is made in cash at the beginning of the retreat. The booking is a binding confirmation of participation and the retreat price must be paid shortly before the start of the retreat. Here is an overview of all retreat prices: Price Overview
4. A deposit of 50 % of the retreat price can be paid by arrangement, but the remaining amount must be paid in cash at the latest directly before the beginning of the retreat. All prices quoted on our website are final prices and include the applicable VAT.
5. Rights & obligations of the participant: The participant is obliged to provide truthful and complete personal information during the booking process. Changes to this information, such as e-mail address, name, address and telephone number, must be communicated immediately. Participants are responsible for making the necessary arrangements for their participation in the ayahuasca retreat, including the arrangement of arrival. Participants should check their mental and physical resilience before participating and, if they are undergoing medical or psychotherapeutic treatment, discuss participation with their doctor or therapist. Any physical or mental limitations or complaints should be reported to the provider before the start of the retreat. Participants who regularly take medication are asked to consult their doctor or therapist before starting the ayahuasca retreat to ensure that participation is in line with their current medical treatment. This is to clarify possible interactions or effects on individual health and to ensure safe participation.
6. Rights & obligations of the provider: Our services are limited exclusively to the implementation of the ayahuasca retreat. We reserve the right to change the schedule or the content of the retreat or to remove individual elements from it, provided that this does not significantly change the overall character of the retreat.
7. We may also appoint other qualified leaders for the retreat if the announced leader is unable to attend. A replacement of the leader does not entitle the participant to terminate the contract.
8. We commit ourselves to informing the participants at least four weeks before the start of the retreat if it cannot be held due to the minimum number of participants. In this case, the deposit will be refunded immediately. We are not liable for claims of participants against third parties, including the seminar hotel. This also includes claims due to cancellations of hotel bookings after the retreat has been cancelled.
9. Right of withdrawal: There is no right of withdrawal for consumers, as the booking of an ayahuasca retreat is a service in connection with leisure activities.
10. Cancellation/replacement participants: Participants may cancel at any time prior to the start of the ayahuasca retreat. Cancellation fees will be based on the date of receipt of the participant’s written request to cancel and will be calculated as a percentage of the retreat fee as follows:
    • 21 days to 15 days before the start: 20 % of the retreat price
    • 14 days to 8 days before the start: 50 % of the retreat price
    • 7 days to 0 days before the start: 100 % of the retreat price

      It is important to note that different cancellation conditions apply for group ceremonies and private ceremonies in Colombia.

      Group Ceremonies:

    • 14 days to 8 days before the start: 50% of the retreat price
    • 7 days to 0 days before the start: 100 % of the retreat price

      Private Ceremonies:

    • 14 days to 8 days before the start: 50% of the retreat price
    • 7 days to 0 days before the start: 100 % of the retreat price

      The participant may nominate a substitute participant up to the start of the booked retreat who will assume the rights and obligations of the contract.

11. Picture and video recordings: We reserve the right to take pictures and video recordings during the ayahuasca retreat and to use them on our website, in our own social media and to pass them on to cooperation partners. Participants hereby declare their consent to the production of images and video recordings of their person. Consent can be revoked on site before the recordings are made by contacting the person responsible.
12. Hotel Booking and Cancellation Conditions: In addition, booking and cancellation conditions apply to hotel bookings made through the retreat organizer. Cancellation fees for hotel bookings may vary.
13. Place of jurisdiction: The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Medellín, Colombia.
